But it is only hair you might say. Yes, but hair as a metaphor for life. Just think for a moment of all the stories that can come from hair that has been: Pushed / Pounded / Fried /Dyed / Re-fried / Laid-down / Crocheted / Braided Locked / Relaxed / Twisted / Extended / Weaved / Pressed Luster-curled Jheri-curled / Hot combed / Flat ironed Hair rolled / And curling ironed - all in an attempt to tame it, to get it to make sense to ourselves, our community, and the rest of the world.
